4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for harassment, stalking, or impersonation
  • Misuse data for unlawful or FCRA-regulated purposes
  • Automate lookups or scrape the site
  • Share access credentials or lookup results

5. Fair Use Policy

Credits are meant for personal, fair-use searching. Excessive or programmatic use may result in suspension or additional verification.

6. Account Access

Accounts are accessed using magic links sent to your email. You are responsible for safeguarding your email. Do not share access.

You can request account deletion via our Help Center. Once verified, all associated data and credits will be permanently deleted.

7. Data Disclaimer

We rely on public records, spam-reporting databases, OSINT, and licensed partners. Results may not be complete or current. We do not guarantee accuracy.

CatfishNumr is not a consumer reporting agency and must not be used for:

  • Employment screening
  • Tenant approval
  • Insurance underwriting
  • Credit checks

8. Opt-Out Policy

You may remove your number from appearing in search results by submitting a request at our Opt-Out Center. Verification via one-time code is required.

9. Refunds & Cancellations

  • $7 Trial: Refundable only if no credits were used and requested within 7 days.
  • Subscriptions: Non-refundable once charged unless due to system error or downtime.
  • Cancellations take effect at the next billing cycle.

10. Limitations of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Accuracy or completeness of any data
  • Missed outcomes based on lookup results
  • Service outages or interruptions

Maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid in the last 6 months.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms. You may also cancel your subscription at any time through your account or by contacting support.
